The technology sector plays a critical role in both driving and mitigating nature and biodiversity impacts through its supply chains, operations, and innovations. This session will explore how procurement and supply chain strategies can integrate nature considerations, ensuring alignment on key data, materiality assessments, and metrics to support meaningful action.

We will examine:

- The most material nature-related impacts and dependencies of the tech sector, from raw material extraction to energy use and e-waste.
- Key actions tech companies should take over the next 5, 10, and 15 years to reduce negative impacts, enhance biodiversity, and capture emerging opportunities.
- How downstream companies and customers can support tech companies in accelerating nature-positive action through procurement expectations, financing mechanisms, and collaborative initiatives.

Event Details

The Nature & Biodiversity Peer Group will hold its next in-person Strategy Days on the 4 & 5 February 2026.

Additional networking and opportunities to integrate scope 3 & nature strategies as part of the Scope 3 Strategy Days (that are running the same week) will take place between 2-6 February - to help ensure the most productive week possible

The agenda is built collaboratively by the Nature & Biodiversity Peer Group, using those who have made the most progress on the business challenge in the last 12 months and enabling everyone to be able to share or learn

The aim is to ensure each Peer Group member walks away with their own template strategy for making faster and more confident progress in 2026 - whether you're more advanced or right at the start of your journey.

The purpose is to help all those tasked with protecting & restoring nature and biodiversity to be matched with those that share the same geographical & commodity priorities; understand what best-practice action looks like across a range of challenges; and get the advice, tools & templates direct from your peers that have made the most progress, so far.

The approach will be to:

- Support members to identify the peers, across sectors, that share the same geographical and commodity concerns - and collaborate to improve & scale action

- Work together with peers who are at a similar stage; working with similar suppliers & initiatives; and sharing real-world plans and tactics

- Detail out the approaches taken by those peers slightly ahead; and understand the hard lessons learned, as well as what made them successful

- Be sent the actual templates of processes and engagement used by your peers internally; and/or with suppliers. Helping you to literally copy-and-paste what works and support more standardised methods.

Attendance is prioritised for those peers working on nature & biodiversity in their organisations; past attendees benefit from a discount; and only a very small selection (maximum 10% of the audience) of trusted solution providers will be invited to attend.

Especially for those travelling from overseas - there will be networking drinks, dinners and support to connect attendees for coffee meetings between 2 - 6 February.

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, Scope 3 & Nature Peer Groups generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through Scope 3 & Nature Peer Groups, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
