Event Details

The Scope 3 Peer Group will be meeting together again on 16-18 June 2026 in the USA, back in Chicago.

The updates & case-studies in 2026 will specifically evidence fresh progress on scope 3 in the last 12 months.

Over 150 practitioners responsible for driving supply chain reduction will be working together across 2-3 days of sessions and workshops to collectively create and fine-tune their scope 3 strategies.

As well as case-studies from those Peer Group members that have evidenced the most progress and maturity in their strategies, you'll also receive their template strategies and plans to implement for yourselves.

The participants are grouped into teams - based on industry, challenges, role and maturity - and you get to work together and network with those peers in the room that have the most relevance to you.

Following the first day of sharing from those making good progress; the second day focuses more on deep-dive sessions in smaller groups of industry peers to actually work on the "so what next?" together. Ensuring that everyone walks away with not just the ideas, but the plans as well.

We fine-tune the agenda as the participants submit specific challenges and to ensure that the sessions and case-studies fit the participants needs.

  • June 16
    Initiative & Industry Day
    We provide the opportunity for Peers in other collaborative/industry groups and projects to meet and discuss their 2026-2027 efforts. A great way to make the week even more productive and to get started ahead of the cross-industry conversations. Special sessions for those in lifesciences & pharma; automotive & industrial; food & beverages; and also those engaging suppliers on heat decarbonization; and our Procurement Leadership workshop to help ensure the voice of procurement is at the heart of scope 3. There will be an informal Networking Lunch for all Peers in those meetings and plenty of opportunity to network. We’ve also partnered with Watershed to host drinks aboard the iconic Chicago architecture boat tour in the summer evening!

    To ensure we focus on action, not just inspiration, these Workshops are determined by the challenges submitted by the Peers and linked to real, collaborative "Do Projects" that can help you take the action you need. Each Workshop is held in partnership with an organisation that has the content, tools and solutions to help you take specific action. The aim is to direct you to action where it is happening right now, fuelled by the previous day’s inspiration. The “so what, what next” that will leave you with actions and decisions to take. Workshops include: our Low Maturity Supplier Engagement & Capability-Building Workshop - best practice engagement of low maturity / SME / service suppliers - led by BSR & EDF; Supplier Renewables & Decarbonization Collaboration Workshop - launching the S3PG Supplier Decarb Program - working together to engage suppliers on power, heat, energy efficiency & financing; The PCF Clinic - In partnership with PACT and others - we will openly discuss the challenges of getting & using actionable PCF data to manage scope 3; and explore those that are getting it right; Capability Building Procurement & Category Decarbonization Workshop - embedding net zero into procurement & category strategy with practical training, levers, data & action; Scope 3 Governance Workshop - led by Impact Pathways - exploring how to collaborate or organise internally to ensure supply chain decarbonization is lead properly; Services & Tech Suppliers Workshop - with Green Project Tech; Unlocking Clean Energy in the Value Chain Workshop - with 3Degrees - collaborate with peers navigating complex value chains to explore a proven blueprint for action. You’ll learn how to credibly procure clean electricity attributes on behalf of suppliers and customers, enabling your organization to address scope 3 emissions effectively, transparently, and at scale.
