Agenda Outline & Plan
Low Maturity Supplier Day (October 20)
The aim of this day is to help provide as many low maturity & SME suppliers as we can and with the most consistent and best practice support as possible.
We'll cover all the key areas of alignment across the Peer asks of suppliers - including:
90–95% of Peers ask suppliers to measure and disclose emissions in some form;
75–85% ask suppliers to set a reduction target or demonstrate climate commitment;
65–80% ask suppliers to take practical action on energy / renewable electricity / efficiency;
60–75% ask suppliers to report in a standardised / comparable way;
50–65% ask suppliers to provide a basic action plan / roadmap / progress evidence;
Industry Specific Supplier Day (October 21)
The aim of this day is to help provide suppliers that require industry and/or category specific support on decarbonization - with all the insight & tools they need, from as many of their industry customers as possible.
We are looking at industry verticals - such as: pharma / medtech / lifesciences; food & drink; chemicals; consumer goods/packaging; automotive and more.
Indirect supplier categories that are relevant to many Peers will also be covered - including IT/tech/data centers; professional & marketing services; and property.
Customer Specific Supplier Day (October 22)
The aim of this day is to help provide suppliers with the opportunity to speak privately to as many customers as possible in one virtual event, about their specific needs and asks on decarbonization - plus the innovations, solutions and products the supplier can provide to accelerate shared progress.
Peers will have private meetings with suppliers and it provides an opportunity for both buyers and suppliers to focus on what's special to them.
